Herbal Botanical Linocut Print featuring crabapples and venus. Includes herbal folklore sheet, vinyl sticker and diecut tags for gifting. Crabapple is long associated with love and marriage. An ideal gift for engagement, weddings, witchy friends, gardeners, herbalists or fans of folklore.
Crabapples are the only 'spple' native to the British Isles, and actually part of the rose family. Burnt by the Celts in fetility rites and used for predicting love. Included is a brief extract of folklore taken from my Herbal & Hedgerow print club, and a vinyl sticker.
Printed on 250gsm Fabriano Unica 50% cotton rag paper, with a pleasing textural surface. The 5x5" collectable print is presented in an archival quality 8x8"mat Larson-Juhl heavy weight board wih protective wrapper, and themed tags.
