Anyone else anti-moth? Be Gone Beasties is a hand carved original linoprint, inspired by the current household invasion of moths. This started with some home grown lavender and a lot of holey jumpers, and is now a print in development for some lavender bags. For those of you who can't wait, how about trying direct instruction instead with this little mounted print. You never know - it might work!
This is an open edition, hand printed from a hand carved lino block, printed on Snowdon white cartridge paper which is a smooth texture, and printed in classic black. The art is mounted ready for you to frame in your own frame.
This 4x4” image is mounted into a 6x6” Larson-Juhl acid-free bevel edge mount in Minuet white, ready for you to frame in a standard 6x6” frame. The mount is complete with an acid-free backing board, and will be delivered to you in a protective cellophane wrapper complete with Raw Alchemy branding, making it ideal for gifting.
Prints and colour may have subtle variation due to the hand made nature of the printing process which makes each print one of a kind. The small marks and flecks of the print are known as ‘chatter’ and are characteristic of linocuts.
