Two For Joy, Magpies & Ace of Spades - Linocut Art Print

This print of magpies was inspired by the rhyme that I was told when young, which says that seeing two magpies together brings joy. The magpies with the Ace of Spades are doubling down on luck! 

“Two For Joy” is an open edition original artist signed print, hand printed in a traditional rich black.  The art is printed from a hand carved lino block onto 130g Snowdon cartridge which is a lovely soft white with slight texture. 

This 7x5” image is mounted into a 10x8” Larson-Juhl acid-free bevel edge mount in Snow White, ready for you to frame in a standard 10x8” frame. The mount is complete with an acid-free backing board, and will be delivered to you in a protective cellophane wrapper complete with Raw Alchemy branding, making it ideal for gifting. The frame isn’t included. 

Prints and colour may have subtle variation due to the hand made nature of the printing process which makes each print one of a kind. The small marks and flecks of the print are known as ‘chatter’ and are characteristic of linocuts.
